Christine and Nathan Tiday began Tiday Ink as a way to share their son's writing with the Grandparents both far and near. Seeing the usefulness of Blogger, Chris and Nate worked together to begin this site of mini-novels for language learners.
Chris has had a passion for languages since childhood. She has her B.A. in Hispanic Languages and Cultures from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master's Degree in Education from Lock Haven University. The next project is a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from IUP. Chris taught Spanish and Science and worked in K-12 school administration for 17 years. Since 1018, she has worked in teacher education in the university setting.
Together, the Tiday's have coordinated short term mission trips and enjoy the opportunities they have to build relationships with people in Nepal, Kenya, Haiti, Thailand and El Salvador. Smoe of their recent projects include overseeing a summer camp in Thailand, writing materials for a school in El Salvador and putting the siding on a school in Haiti.
